We work with trusted partners and funders to make sure people in Merseyside can access all the benefits of sport and physical activity. Find out more about how we work with just some of them below.
Merseyside Sports Foundation receives funding from Sport England.
The majority of Sport England’s current funding programmes are funded by the National Lottery. So, we’re very grateful to both Sport England and everyone who plays the National Lottery for enabling us to do great work here in Merseyside.
You can find out more about Sport England and how National Lottery money is used via the Sport England website.
We’ve worked closely for many years with MSP, a strategic organisation hosted by Liverpool City Council, which serves the whole of the Liverpool City Region.
We share a similar vision and consistently find that by working in collaboration we can achieve more and help greater numbers of people enjoy the benefits of sport and physical activity.
National mental health charity, Mind, recognises the power of sport and physical activity to raise awareness, tackle mental health stigmas and support those of us with mental health problems to become more active.
To help professionals, organisations and individuals leverage the benefits of sport and physical activity in their communities, Mind has launched their Regional Network programme.
Mind has appointed Merseyside Sports Foundation as the Hub (lead organisation) for the Regional Network in the North West of England.
